HELLO,
My name is Alexandra Allen! I am a Junior Visual Communication Design student at Kent State University.
I decided to become a designer because I have always been passionate about creative things. I started taking different art classes at my local Center for the Arts from a young age, and when I got to high school I filled my schedule with as many art classes as possible. Design has allowed me to express myself in many ways and carry out my ideas through many different mediums, which is something I have always enjoyed exploring. My philosophy toward my creative work is to make everything mean something. When others are exposed to my work I want it to impact them, whether they are left with some kind of emotion, or inspired to make a change in their lives. As a designer, I would describe myself as thoughtful, innovative, and inspired. I find ideas in everything around me and contemplate how to use them to elevate my work.is my process to learn and grow as a designer.
